Water Well Drilling Professionals in Falls City, NE
Rieschick Drilling Co was established in 1947 when Milton and Carol Rieschick purchased D. H. Kuhlman Drilling and Pump Service. Milton had worked for D. H. for several years and when D.H. was looking to pursue other endeavors, Milton and Carol took the opportunity to further their careers.
In 1953, Milton purchased his first new well rig and the business has grown in leaps and bounds ever since. Milton and Carol went on to have a beautiful family of five children. Roy worked with his dad while he was growing up and went on to attend the University of Nebraska. In 1972, Roy graduated with a B.S. in Geology and came back to Falls City to resume work with his father. In 1975, Milton sadly passed away, but had Roy and Carol ready and willing to continue the family business.
In 1990, Carol decided to retire and handed the reigns over to Roy and Kathy who continue to handle all business operations to this day. Their two sons, Ryan and Andrew grew up working in the business.

Bios
Kathy Rieschick
Kathy attended Southeast Consolidated High School and graduated in 1977. She attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO and graduated 1978 from their Secretarial Program. After college, she started at First National Bank in Falls City, NE and went from bookkeeping to assistant Vice President and Trust Administration Officer. She started full time at Rieschick Drilling Company in 1990 as Secretary. Kathy is currently the President of Rieschick Drilling Company and handles all office operations. She has been heavily involved in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church served in the past as Secretary and on Church Council, and is currently church Treasurer.
Ryan Rieschick
Ryan attended Falls City High School and graduated in 1990. He attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln from 1990-1993 majoring in Geology and Water Science. He moved back to Falls City after college to work in the family business. He is currently the President of the Nebraska Water Well Drillers Association. He has previously been Director and Vice President of the NWWDA. During his time at Rieschick Drilling Company he has attended Baroid’s Mud School, completed the Water Leaders Academy, and completed multiple levels of Danfoss VFD training. He has also been involved in his community as a Falls City Councilman. Ryan is the lead contact for HDD projects, water line installations, and pump controls.
Andrew Rieschick
Andrew attended Falls City High School and graduated in 2005. He attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln from 2005-2009 and graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. After graduation, he worked for Ducks Unlimited in Grand Island, NE as an Engineer handling all aspects of project design and construction management. He resigned from Ducks Unlimited in 2014 to move home and help the family business. Andrew currently focuses on project management and well construction projects within Rieschick Drilling Company. He is also the owner of Rieschick Engineering & Consulting, LLC and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri. This gives clients the opportunity to design-build complicated projects essentially within the same firm and with a huge savings over traditional design-bid-build.
Roy Rieschick
Roy attended Falls City High School and graduated in 1963. He attended of University of Nebraska – Lincoln and graduated with a B.S. in Geology and Hydrology in 1972. He returned home to work at Rieschick Drilling Company immediately after graduating. He has served as Treasurer on the Nebraska Well Drillers Association Board. During his tenure, he has attended Baroid’s Mud School and helped develop and test Grundfos’ Jet Sub (preludes Grundfos’ SQE line). He has been very active in the community serving on both the Falls City Public School Board and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Council. Roy spends his time assisting in the office and provides project oversight.
